In this project, we were tasked with designing an app for birdwatchers. To understand their needs and expectations, we conducted user research to explore what features and functions would provide the most value in such an app.

We began by interviewing a birdwatcher to better understand what they would value in an app. From this, we summarized the key insights and explored how to translate them into features. Using techniques such as brainstorming, storyboards, and scenarios—which we also documented through video and audio—we generated and refined concepts for the app.
Next, we created wireframes and developed a visual identity for the app. We used Figma to design and applied dot voting to prioritize and refine the interface elements.
.
The final prototype was created in Figma, incorporating insights from our interview, ideas developed during the design process, and feedback from classmates.
This ensured the solution was both user-informed and iteratively refined.
